Kandau is a library that offers an easy way to
store and retrieve C++ objects (and their
relations with other objects) into various
backends. SQL, XML, and .desktop backends are
currently implemented. It may be as interesting
for storing configuration information as it is for
storing information in a relational database.
Furthermore, you can switch the backend without
any change to source code, and it is thus
transparent to the application developer.
