fvwm-ewmh is made up of a module, FvwmNetHints, and a patch against the FVWM source tree. With these, FVWM can handle Extended Window Manager Hints from the freedesktop group. This allows, for example, running FVWM with KDE 2 and 3, and GNOME 2.

Window operations have been optimised, and are now reasonably fast. KDE System tray implementation has been fixed so that there is no more gap in the kicker. UseWorkingAreaPlacement is now safe. A new FvwmNetHints config command UseExtendedName has been added, for better handling of windows and icon titles.
