프로젝트 설명

Calf is a set of audio effect plugins. Several
plugins are provided: flanger, reverb, multimode
filter, vintage delay, phaser, simple monophonic
VA synthesizer, and organ/pad synthesizer.
LADSPA+LRDF, DSSI, and LV2 versions are available,
as well as GTK+ based UIs and a standalone
application using GTK+2 and JACK.

Usability of knob controls has been improved. A new FM-based percussive module has been added to Calf Organ. The rotary speaker effect is more flexible due to added parameters, and sounds more subtle due to a changed algorithm. A freeze-on-exit bug has been fixed in the JACK host. The JACK host license has been changed back to the GPL due to use of the LASH client library.

Changes include LV2 support (including GUI and event extension support), a phaser effect, a redesigned organ synthesizer, improved calfjackhost, removal of the dependency on the phat UI library, and many little improvements and bugfixes. Some newly-found problems with OpenSUSE and 64-bit architectures have been fixed. The project Web site has been redesigned.
