WCCPd is a Web Cache Coordination Protocol daemon,
written in C, that listens to WCCP version 1
clients (like Squid or Cisco CacheEngine). Based
on availability, it forwards HTTP packets to the
Cache farm, or lets them thru. Scripts are used
for the actual kernel-level forwarding
configuration. It supports Linux 2.2.x and 2.4.x
with IP Virtual Server.
