PyleWiki is a WikiClone written entirely in Python that allows a group of people to collaboratively edit a tree of webpages using nothing but their browser and a simple, text-based markup language. This particular WikiClone has a few extensions to the original: attachments to pages, user authentication (primitive), and the use of templates for page styling among others.

The renderer has been completely replaced. The
ad-hoc regex-based parsing has been replaced with
a block-structure analysis, giving higher-quality
markup and a better user experience. Other major
new features include "Edit-via-FTP" support and
better support for CSS stylesheets. A couple of
HTML-escaping bugs have been fixed, along with the
addition of a slew of minor features.
