Scopserv Communicator is an audio/video Internet phone and instant messenger that supports some of the most popular VoIP and instant messaging protocols such as SIP, Jabber (XMPP), AIM/ICQ, MSN, Yahoo! Messenger, and a whole lot of other useful features. ScopServ Communicator is based on the SIP Communicator softphone.

AIM Sniff is a utility for monitoring and
archiving AIM and MSN messages across a network.
It can be used to monitor for cases of harassment
or warez trading. It has the ability to do a live
dump (actively sniff the network) or read a PCAP
file and parse the file for IM messages. You also
have the option of dumping the information to a
MySQL database or STDOUT. AIM Sniff will also
monitor for an IM login and then perform an SMB
lookup on the originating computer in order to
match NT Domain names with IM login names
(handles).

Echomine Muse provides an easy-to-use Java API
that gives you quick and easy access to network
collaboration services. Specifically, it allows
you to communicate with Jabber/XMPP servers to
perform instant messaging and presence management.

Pedbot is an AOL Instant Messenger robot that features Eliza mode, area code lookup, calculator, dictionary, Google search/spell, IP mapper, password generator, pickup line generator, random quote, random fact, stock quotes, weather, zip to zip distance, and more. Administrative features include wrappers for: ping, nmap, traceroute, dig, whois, w, host, the ability to set configuration hash values through messaging, and initiating conversations with others, manual block / warn commands, and more.

ImageIM is a plugin for Gaim that lets buddies send
screenshots to each other via HTTP. Users can simply click
the ImageIM button, select a portion of the screen, and then
send their buddy the image. If the buddy doesn't have
ImageIM, they will receive a link pointing them to the
image.

JAIMBot is a modular architecture for providing services through an AIM client. It contains a generic AIM library and a Bot which uses this library to provide such services as Offline Messaging, Lists, Weather, Headlines, Stock Quotes, TV Listings, and an AI chatterbot. The Invisionix Roaming System Remote (IRSR) is a
new metasystem which provides its users with a
personal PC capability that operates in a
distributed WAN environment. The metasystem is
built with PHP, Javascript, and MySQL. The IRSR is
a personal, general purpose, and modular mobile PC
system, built by integrating existing Open Source
components.

gaim-e is an encryption plugin for gaim. It uses
GNUPG (GPG) to securely transfer the session key
(RC5). It currently works with AOL, MSN, and
Yahoo. Other protocols supported by gaim have not
yet been tested.
